If your ideal long lunch involves sangria, shared plates and a table full of churros, Olé Restaurant’s new Casa Banquet deserves a spot firmly on your radar.
The South Bank favourite has launched a daily Spanish-style feast that leans into generous flavours, vibrant dishes and the kind of leisurely dining that tends to blur the line between lunch and late afternoon drinks.
Available daily from 11:30am to 6pm for $55pp, the Casa Banquet brings together a curated selection of OLÉ’s signature dishes into one indulgent spread. Expect fresh oysters, crisp Spanish croquettes and jumbo prawns to start, before moving into crispy pork belly finished with a sticky Seville orange glaze and the restaurant’s much-loved pollo asado.
Then comes dessert, and OLÉ is not holding back. A plate of golden churros arrives with your choice of warm chocolate sauce or dulce de leche for dipping, rounding out the feast on a suitably decadent note.
It is the sort of menu made for birthdays, group celebrations and those spontaneous afternoons that begin with “let’s do lunch” and somehow stretch well beyond sunset.
For anyone partial to a long table, another round of sangria and the ritual of passing plates between friends, OLÉ has well and truly understood the brief. Book here.
